This is a 12 month opportunity to join the Digital Technology Group as a Senior Data and Support Specialist. This role has primary responsibility for maintaining and administering the Oracle Utilities Analytics services that support Icon Water’s Asset Systems.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
Install, administer, maintain and improve the Oracle Utilities Analytics (OUA) services and other data related services that support the company’s Asset Systems suite.
Define, review, develop and maintain reports using OUA (OBIEE) and BI Publisher.
Manage and maintain the synchronisation of data between WAM, MWM and OUA using the Oracle Goldengate platform.
Ensure the availability and performance of OUA reporting and data services meets SLA requirements.
Ensure OUA server resources are optimised, resilient and performance tuned.
Undertake data warehouse management, including ensuring the integrity of all ETL functions.
Undertake scheduled health checks and proactively manage, patch and maintain the OUA and data systems to ensure data security, provide optimal performance and minimise downtime.
Investigate & resolve escalated incidents and problems relating to OUA, data and reporting, within agreed timescales, ensuring key stakeholders are kept informed on progress.
Who we are looking for: We are looking for suitable candidates with extensive experience using Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) (mandatory), Oracle Data Integrator (mandatory) and extensive experience with PL/SQL (mandatory). You will also require:
Significant experience with Oracle Golden Gate (mandatory)
Significant experience in Oracle BI Publisher (mandatory)
Excellent soft skills and collaborative skills (Mandatory)
Experience with Oracle Utilities Analytics (desirable)
Experience with Oracle Utility Applications (WAM and MWM Applications)
Working knowledge of data management in Amazon Web Services (AWS) environments (desirable)
