Details of the opportunity: This is a 12 month opportunity in the Process Compliance Operations Team.
About the role: The role is part of the Infrastructure Reliability & Performance Branch within the Infrastructure Services Group. The Branch is committed to driving operational excellence and sustainable outcomes.
This role has primary responsibility for ensuring that the water process is compliant with relevant legislation and aligned with industry best practice.
The key responsibilities include:
Data collection, synthesis, analysis and reporting of water quality performance.
Assisting in the management of water quality compliance and regulatory reporting for the delivery of safe, efficient and reliable water services.
Assisting in administering the water quality monitoring contract and programs in accordance with the Service Level Agreement and documented procedures.
Assisting in the development, implementation and review of Quality Management Systems.
Assisting in customer investigations and complaint management.
Who are we are looking for: We are looking for applicants who have an understanding of water quality risk management and/or quality management systems, are detail orientated and are proficient in data analytics. To succeed in this position, you will need the following:
Qualifications:
Science and/or engineering, quality management systems
Knowledge:
Knowledge of the Australian Drinking Water Guidelines (ADWG) and/or Quality Management Systems (e.g. HACCP).
Applied knowledge of drinking water systems.
Minimum 2 years experience with water monitoring programs.
Experience:
Technical report writing and data analysis, interpretation of analytical results, reporting and procedural writing in a technical environment.
Stakeholder engagement across multiple teams and different disciplines.
Experience in communicating to a variety of audiences.
